We all know about the show Lost, in which hundreds of castaways from the sky try and figure out their psychological problems by being trapped on a haunted island. But can you imagine a similiar show where the same thing happens in space?
Yeah, that would be amazing, or even supreme. Everyone would be astronauts travelling to different planets-- but KABOOM the spaceship crashes, and then it's stuck in space. But then wierd stuff starts happening-- for example like the martian and his wife get mad at the family of professors that own the spaceship, and the Hurley robot falls in love.
Obviously this story needs to be developed.
[Props to Dustin, Dat, and Cliff for their contributions to the last post VIA the comments. Sadly, all the movies they suggested have either been made or are in development by various Studios-- I think SEXY SPY LEAF-- THE SUPERMODEL SPY LEAF PART 1 is coming out mid-December from Dreamworks. Thanks anyway, guys! And keep up the creativity.]

The Pool
There is a pool at a deserted hotel and it looks like it is clear and only 12 feet deep. No kids play in the pool.
One day, a group of teenagers find the pool and want to swim even though it is winter and cold out.
One kid jumps in and instead of swimming he disappears. Nobody knows where he went and the teenagers are terrified.
Later the kids come back to the pool to find Tommy. Tommy is the kid who jumped in the pool. The kids think maybe they imagined things. They did not. One kid sticks his arm in the pool and he can't see it as soon as it goes into where the water should be.
The pool is not a pool. It is a portal to someplace like in Stargate.
So all of the kids go tell adults and the adults don't want to believe them at first but eventually Tommy's dad and Marcus' dad come to check it out. They can't believe it but it's true and they're frightened.
Tommy's dad wants to go in but Marcus' dad is in the military and he wants to notify the military. In the end, Marcus' dad leaves to go tell military while Tommy's dad jumps into the pool and disappears.
The other teenagers were all there when Tommy's dad jumped in and even though they saw it before they still can't believe it. It doesn't make sense to them.
In act II, the film goes to Tommy's dad waking up. He is literally in Hell. It's hotter than he should be able to stand, but all he can do is scream because he doesn't burn or anything. Through his screaming he says asks where his son is, but nobody says anything because they have their own problems.
Tommy's Dad sees that the pool he came from is still there, it's just that now it looks like a pool of fire. When he sticks his hand into the fire it comes out on the Earth side and it feels way better.
Tommy and Tommy's dad have found a portal to hell that even lost souls can use. It's just that all the lost souls think it's a lake of fire so they don't go near it.
In the film, Tommy's Dad rescues Tommmy, but then a whole bunch of bad people find Hell's exit, and they all start coming to Earth. Evil people but not famous evil people, just old serial killers that nobody ever heard about sneak out to Earth and start killing people.
But what can be done? How can Earth get rid of them if when they die they know the way back?
In the third act, Earth deals with this problem, trying to seal up the pool, before Hell is literally unleashed. However, one of the people helping seal the pool is secretly an ex lost soul and betrays everyone. It is Judas himself, and that is the final twist.
Hey Stephen. Thanks for the props. You have a really interesting screenplays yourself. They remind me of Charlie Kaufman in a sense because they're not traditional, but they are something that would be very neat to see. Here's my second foray
Movie title: More Guns
Lead Characters: Charlie Rachetti, Kilroy Holten, Mary Septonni, Denise Jones, General Mayhem
Act I: 15 years have passed since world peace was been achieved. Gun factories were closed, all guns were willingly surrendered and thrown into the sun. There is still domestic violence, but there are no longer gun related deaths. The word "gun" is a swear. We meet Charlie who likes to hunt bears without guns. He is in love with Mary, but she doesn't notice him. Then aliens attack. Their bows and arrows and catapults are much more advanced than ours. They are destroying everything.
Act II: General Mayhem sees the aliens and knows that the only way to defeat the aliens is to kill them with guns. "We need MORE GUNS!" This is like blasphemy, but the world is desperate. Almost everyone has at least one arrow sticking out of them. So they decide to make a secret gun factory so that more guns can be made. Meanwhile, Charlie and his friend Kilroy are killing aliens even with their crude clubs and bows. It is dangerous, but the aliens look similar to bears so Charlie feels experienced and brave. Kilroy is tough too, but more comic relief. At the end of Act II, both Charlie and Kilroy get shot in the knees by advanced alien arrows
Act III: The gun factory has been completed. General Mayhem gives every human on Earth a gun by air-dropping them over cities. The aliens see the guns too, but they don't know how to use them. Charlie and Kilroy, now in wheelchairs, pick up the guns and, after battling an army of aliens, lead a charge to kill the alien leaders. They are successful. Mary realizes she loves Charlie, and Mary realizes she loves Kilroy. Closing shot: Earth firing their guns in the air to celebrate
